Jewels of the Desert Horse Rescue and Sanctuary Mission: Jewels of the Desert Horse Rescue and Sanctuary was founded in January 2024 with a steadfast mission: to rescue horses in need, irrespective of their circumstances. Whether they are severely malnourished, in need of medical assistance, or their families are encountering hardships, we are committed to providing them with a chance at happiness. Our dedication lies in supporting them on their journey finding their forever home and ensuring their safety and well-being. FUN FACT : Did you know the Rescue name was made from the first horse we took in ? Before becoming a Non -Profit we were looking for a second horse to take in but one that just needed help to be a friend to another horse she was all skin and bones ,body score 1 . We named her Jewel , our mission lives through her with each and every horse we help , this is all her work!!! JEWEL made this happen and she was of the kindest soul . We miss and love you sweet girl !!
